MB, BS (Guys Hospital 1981), DRCOG, MRCGP

Dr Cook joined the practice in 1990. He has three adult children. He has a special interest in dermatology. He is a Racecourse Medical Officer at Ludlow Racecourse. He enjoys flying aeroplanes. This is a picture from when he joined in 1990. The same image is still very easily recreated when you visit him in practice.

 

 

 

Dr James Harris (Partner) 

MBBS (Guys Hospital 2005) BSc, MRCP, MRCGP, DCH, DTM&H, PGA(MedEdu)

Dr Harris worked in hospitals in both the UK and New Zealand before completing his training as a general practitioner in 2012 when he became a Partner here. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and has an interest in elderly care, joint pain and GP education. He has 3 young children and his wife is a Paediatric doctor currently training to be a GP too. He enjoys walking, football and tennis.

 

 

 

Dr Caron Morton (Partner) 

MBE, MBChB (Stellenbosch University 1997), MRCGP, DCH, DFFP

Dr Morton returned to the practice as a partner in 2016 and has a special interest in paediatrics, women’s health and mental health. She has a daughter and enjoys running, cooking and gardening.

 

 

 

 

Dr David Mitchell

MBBS (King’s College London 2011 with pre-clinical years completed at Cambridge University)

Dr Mitchell completed his final year of GP training at Station Drive Surgery in August 2016. We are pleased that he has joined the practice as a permanent member of our clinical team.

 

 

 

 

Dr Laura Fisk

Dr Fisk is a Clinical Psychologist (doctor of psychology).

“I work with all people of all ages, with all sorts of problems. This includes people with all kinds of mental health challenges, people living with the burden of chronic health conditions and people struggling to adjust to unexpected life circumstances”.

Dr Laura Fisk is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9am – 5pm.

Dr Khai Sheng Tan

Dr Tan is completing part of his GP training at Station Drive Surgery.

 

Dr Tabith Prest

MBBS (Cardiff University 2016)

Dr Preset is completing her foundation doctor training at Station Drive Surgery. She is also fluent in French.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr Karen Russell

MB BCh (Leeds 1997)

Karen is a Family Planning Consultant who visits Station Drive for a session once a month to deal with complex family planning cases and also to provide advice, training to our nurses and to offer an expert IUD and Implant service for our patients. Appointments can be made direct.

The average pay for GPs working in Station Drive Surgery in the last financial year was £52908.49 (before tax and national insurance). This is for 3 Full-Time Partners, 2 Part-Time GPs and 2 Locum GPs (who worked in the practice for more than six months).
