When we asked our Reception Team what statement summarised their ambition this is what they said.
The Team comprises Admin staff receptionists HCAs Nurses Pharmacists Care Coordinator and Doctors.
We are a training Practice with Registrar GPs Medical Students and other trainees working closely together and thriving on a strong educational ethos.
We believe in providing family care. In accordance with Government Policy all patients have a named GP, however you are free to consult any of our doctors for any medical problem. For longer term treatment we would recommend that you try to book in with the same Doctor each time to help with continuity of care. It may not be possible to see your ‘usual’ doctor if you wish to be seen urgently.
We now have a CARE COODINATOR called ESTHER COX allocated to Station Drive Surgery. This is great news. Esther works on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Esther’s role within the practice is to help patients and carers maintain independent living, and to access additional help, advice and support if required by signposting to other useful services. The practice is conscious of the needs of those with caring responsibilities, and if you feel that you would benefit from support, advice or just a chat please feel welcome to contact Esther at the surgery. If Esther is unavailable a member of staff will be happy to contact her on your behalf. Or you can email her at email@example.com.
