Please follow the guidelines and choose the right option for you.
Please allow us 48 hours (two working days) to process your prescription request and remember that your pharmacy will also require time to process your medication. We recommend that you order any prescriptions 7 days in advance of needing the medication.

Prescription Fees
Find out the current prescription charges here
If you know that you will have to pay for a lot of NHS prescriptions, it may be cheaper to buy a Prepayment Certificate (PPC). This is like a prescription “season ticket”. It covers the cost of all of your NHS prescriptions, including NHS dental prescriptions, no matter how many items you need. It does not cover the cost of other health items, such as the provision of wigs and fabric supports, which are only provided through the hospital service.
There are 3 PPC options to choose from:
- The 3-month PPC will save you money if you need more than 3 prescribed items in 3 months
- The 12-month PPC will save money if you need more than 11 prescribed items in 12 months
- The hormone replacement therapy (HRT) PPC will save you money if you need more than 2 prescribed HRT items in a year
